Rajthanee Hospital Public Company Limited was established in 1990 to operate a medical service business. The initial operation was under the name of Ayudhya Medical Co., Ltd. by a group of specialist doctors, most of whom graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, which they currently are major shareholders in the company, namely Dr. Vachira Wuttikulprapan, Dr.Pornthip Wuttikulprapan, and Dr. Surin Prasithiran. In collaboration with leading businessmen in the province of Ayutthaya who saw the lack of public health services for the communities surrounded by many large industrial companies. However, the number of hospital services in Ayutthaya and nearby provinces was insufficient to meet such demand, so the decision was made to establish Rajthanee Hospital in Khlong Suan Phlu subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district, Ayutthaya. The hospital is located in high growth area and close to the main roads such as Asia Road and Rojana Road. The operation started in 1992, which was well received by the people of Ayutthaya Province and nearby provinces from that point forward.

In addition, the announcement of the Social Security Act since 1992 by the government to enhance the provision of public health services and as a basic collateral to the citizens who receive medical care and income subsidize while receiving a treatment, the company realizes this announcement is important and also see the opportunities to provide medical care to more people in the province. Therefore, the company joined the project from 1994 until present day. As a result, the company has received more revenue from the social security. In 2014, the company saw an opportunity to increase service channels and expand the capacity of medical services to patients in Ayutthaya, especially patients from industrial areas nearby. The company decided to invest in Rochanavej Hospital Limited, acquiring 52.17%. This hospital is located on Rojana-Wang Noi Road, close to the Rojana Industrial District. They later changed the name to Rajthanee Rojana Hospital Company Limited and operated a hospital business under the name “Rajthanee Rojana Hospital”. Currently, Rajthanee Hospital Public Company Limited has a total registered capital of 300 million baht, with 1 subsidiary, namely Rajthanee Hospital, Rojana Company Limited, whereby the group has a total of 353 registered hospital beds. The company and its subsidiaries are capable of providing medical services.
